Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro OG "White Cement"

The Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro OG "White Cement" is one of the most legendary basketball sneakers ever created and an original (OG) colorway of the Air Jordan 4. Designed for Michael Jordan during the late 1980s, the sneaker represents a milestone in both basketball performance and sneaker culture. With its timeless design, innovative technology, and deep historical significance, the "White Cement" has become one of the most celebrated and influential releases in Jordan Brand history.

The design is inspired by modern industrial architecture and the raw texture of poured concrete, a concept envisioned by legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield. The sneaker features a premium White leather upper, contrasted by Black details and the signature Cement Grey speckled accents on the midsole, heel tab, and molded lace wings. These speckled elements mimic the appearance of unfinished concrete, giving the shoe its iconic "White Cement" nickname. Breathable mesh panels, molded TPU support wings, and the visible Air-Sole unit combine performance innovation with unmistakable style, while the original Nike Air branding on the heel reinforces its OG heritage.

The original Air Jordan 4 debuted in 1989, designed by Tinker Hatfield, introducing groundbreaking features such as visible Air cushioning, mesh side panels, and an advanced wing support system for enhanced lockdown. The Air Jordan 4 Retro OG "White Cement" has been retroed several times, but the most faithful OG recreation was released in 2016, bringing back the original Nike Air heel branding. Jordan Brand followed with another highly anticipated 2025 Retro OG release, once again staying true to the 1989 design while incorporating modern manufacturing improvements. Immortalized by Michael Jordan's legendary "The Shot" against the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 1989 NBA Playoffs, the "White Cement" remains one of the greatest Air Jordan colorways ever produced and an enduring symbol of basketball history and sneaker culture.
